TM Sazzad

‘An automated approach to identify reproductive tissues using digitised images of histopathology ovarian slides’

Research summary: 

Sazzad’s research looks at new ways of helping women to conceive. Sazzad's research has found an effective image processing technique to analyse female reproductive tissues automatically, which could revolutionise conception, and also be used for cancer cells and other blood samples.

Bio: 

T M Shahriar Sazzad’s current research is focused on the use of information technology in Medical Science and the application of Medical Image processing techniques to improve the analysis and identification process for medical histopathology experts.

He is currently a PhD student at School of Computer Science, Edith Cowan University, Western Australia, Australia.

Sazzad has published widely in the area of Medical Image Processing, including ten conference papers (6 IEEE and 3 Springer conference papers) and two journal papers currently ready for submission in IEEE Transaction in Medical Image Processing.
